Step-by-Step Word Ladder Challenge Workbook (Grades 2-3)
Word ladders activities offer children the opportunity to play with words and language while building reading and spelling skills. Children increase their vocabulary, too, as they use clues to determine new words and gain confidence, rung by rung. Word ladders are loads of fun, too!
How do word ladders work? Start with the word on the bottom rung of each ladder. Add, delete, or change one to two letters on each rung above. Use the clues to determine the new word. Write in the missing letter or letters in the blank boxes. Continue working your way up the ladder until you reach the top! If you get stuck, just check the answer key in the back!

Curbside Pickup: Come visit us in our new location at 2314 Bloor St West. Orders for curbside pickup will incur no additional fees regardless of order total and are usually ready within 24 hours.

Standard Wrapping: Please specify in the "order notes" if you would like your items wrapped as a gift. If so, we will remove all price tags and wrap it in our signature Lemon & Lavender gift bag with tissue. You can also request this if you pick-up your order in person.
Greeting message with delivery: We do not offer a complimentary option for a greeting card. Please add a greeting card from our online store and include in the order notes what you would like written inside. Our team will hand-write the message for you. If you do not have a greeting, your name will be displayed only so the receiver knows who sent it to them.
